If you’re going to work in Kansas, you’ve got to learn to live with the wind. Your session location will really just depend on what direction is it going to be blowing from today type of thing lol. If the wind is coming from the south, there’s a great little “cove” of trees at the Crawford County Fairgrounds that we can use for your shoot that damn near completely blocks the wind. #winning
It can accommodate large extended families or a single family…like the Holmes family during their session last month. Due to our travel schedules, we had the option of chancing the rain and wind with warmer temperature OR full sun with cold temperatures. Mom and I agreed to stick with our original session date and chance the wind and rain.
Session day rolls around and boy did we get lucky! Just a few sprinkles in the morning and the rain completely moved on…But that wind…it stuck around all day long. So, to the trusty “cove” we went!!!
